igrao sam jedinicu na kompu, dvicu nam nisu dali, majkuliimspalim... igra je genijalna. oće bit što f.e.a.r.- ovskog bullet timea? to bi baš bilo lijepo

nažalost o bullet time-u nisu ništa odgovorili... A mnoge će stvari prešutjeti i do samoga izlaska igre, jer Halo 3 će biti zadnji, završni dio Halo Trilogije i to onda mora biti BOMBA!

Halo 3 dolazi u tri verzije
Microsoft je objavio nove cijene već otprije najavljenih verzija Halo 3 igre. Dakle, postojat će tri edicije, od kojih je najskuplja Legendary Edition( nazvana prema najtežem modu unutar igre).

Legendary Edition koštat će 129,99 dolara, dolazi u ograničenom broju primjeraka na tržište i što je najzanimljivije, kupci će dobiti kacigu veoma sličnu onoj koju nosi Master Chief - Spartan Mjolnir Mark VI.



Naravno za ovu novčanu vrijednost i ne možete očekivati kacigu koja će poslužiti kao praktično prometno pomagalo, ali i ovo će biti ok...barem za maškare. Osim kacige dobit ćete i artbook s najvažnijim opisom povijesti Haloa, koju je oslikao Lee Wilson.

Osim osnovne igre u paketu se nalaze i dva dodatna diska. U prvom je uprizoren process nastanka Halo te scene "iza kulisa" koje prikazuje Bungiev tim pri omiljenom im poslu – izradi Halo univerzuma. Drugi disk donosi uljepšane animacije iz prva dva nastavka Halo igara, zajedno s komentarima Bungievaca. Također, u dodacima se nalazi i "Dan proveden u Bungieu" te sadržaj o dvije kratke Halo serije - Red vs. Blue i This Spartan Life.

Druga, Limited verzija stajat će 69.99$ te osim igre uključuje već navedeni prvi disk iz Legendary verzije te artbook.



Za kraj, Standard verzija ne donosi nikakve spektakularne dodatke uz osnovnu Halo 3 igru, ali zato je cijena najprimamljivija – 59,99$.
Premda iz Microsofta nisu potvrdili datum, Halo 3 gotovo sigurno izlazi ove jeseni.

ja ću izgleda uzeti ovaj Limited Edition za 70 eura, nekako mi je najisplativiji.

Kaciga je nekako plastična, jeftina.... mislim da nije vrijedna tih para.

One of the new weapons - Flamethrower

Bungie originally planned to include the flamethrower in Halo 2, but decided its removal was necessary. "It wasn't just balance in Halo 2, it was also performance," Bungie lead writer Frank O'Connor told IGN. "Obviously the 360 makes things like that significantly easier. In Halo 3, we can control where it goes a lot better. [The flamethrower] obviously features a lot in campaign. But in multiplayer it doesn't have to be in every multiplayer playlist and map." And if Bungie finds that the flamethrower is overpowering a map or gametype, it can easily be removed.

The flamethrower does things that just weren't possible in Halo 2. This is, more or less, a living flame. "If you shoot a pillar, the liquid in the flamethrower will adhere to it and burn there," O'Connor explained. "Likewise with the floor and with bad guys. It will cause continual damage to a vehicle. When the flames start to cool down and evaporate, it stops causing damage. If you're lucky enough to keep it on a Warthog, then you will in fact take it down with a flamethrower."

For those who have grown fond of the bubble shield, O'Connor confirmed that the gadget will provide safe haven from fire. "It will wash over the shield. It will actually burn on the surface of the shield."

In the words of Crank's Jason Statham, "How f***ing awesome was that?"

The flamethrower does come at a bit of a cost. The bursts last just three seconds and you'll need to pump the trigger once a burst dries out. This is a turret weapon, like the missile pod. That means you'll be controlling it in a third-person view and will move slowly.

Description:
The M7057/DP is a standard chemical flamethrower, which projects and ignites a stream of a volatile, semi-liquid fuel. Flamethrowers are cumbersome and relatively difficult to use (psychologically as well as mechanically).

Observations:
Referring to the M7057/DP as a weapon1 is a bit of a misnomer as the dee pea in its nomenclature indicate that it is a defoliant projector—to be used to rapidly clear away heavy foliage for in-theater construction projects and to destroy new or persistent growth from emplaced and/or hardened military assets. That having been said; despite being all but obsolete militarily its effectiveness as a psychological weapon is undeniable—unfortunately the psychological effect is a double-edged sword.
